The Open Brandenburg State Ski Jumping Championships will take as part of the FIS New Star Trophy on October 27th and 28th 2023 in Bad Freienwalde. We are looking forward to welcome young athletes from different countries in Europe.

FIS young talent series starts in Freienwalde
With the New Star Trophy, the FIS established a new competition format last year. The series aims to give talents up to the age of 15 the opportunity to compete on an international level, especially for athletes from smaller ski jumping nations. On Saturday, 10 a.m., the competitions in the age groups U7, U9, U11, U13 and U15 take place on all jumping hills. You can find all information including the schedule here. Team event on Friday evening
The competition weekend starts on Friday evening with a floodlight team competition. We are looking forward to mixed teams competing on the Spa-town Hill Helmut Recknagel (K60) for the Prime Minister’s Cup of the State of Brandenburg. In addition to the children and teenagers that taking part in the New Star Trophy, the seniors will also jump at the German Senior Ski Jumping Championships on saturday. The first round of the competition also counts for the Nordic Combined, which culminates in the afternoon as a cross-country run around the ski jump area. At the same time, the medals will also be awarded as part of the Open Brandenburg State Championship.
